Kid Rock And Jason Aldean Will Join Lynyrd Skynyrd For Jacksonville Show

Kid Rock and Jason Alden are set to join Lynyrd Skynyrd for a concert in Jacksonville over the Labor Day weekend. The show, to be held at EverBank Field on September 2, is part of Skynyrd’s Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour. Original band member Gary Rossington and lead singer Johnny Van Zant will be joined by Rickey Medlocke, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Keith Christopher, Peter Keys, Dale Krantz Rossington and Carol Chase for the performance. Van Zant said the band is working on plans to film the show, to be headlined by Lynyrd Skynyrd, for posterity. “We want to record this, we want to document it, just make it a great thing for the band,” he said.
