Carrie Underwood has revealed that she will release a brand new album later this year. Cry Pretty, her sixth studio album — and debut for Capitol Records — will be released on September 14. Underwood broke the news on Instagram on Wednesday, just days after debuting the title track from the project live at the 2018 ACM Awards. The title track and first single was the most added country radio song over the past week, topping the iTunes Top Songs charts in 12 countries and running up 1.3 million streams in the U.S. in its first two days of reporting. The country superstar said “There’s so much love in here, and heart, that has gone into writing songs, putting music to these songs.
