During his performance at the annual Greenwich Town Party at Roger Sherman Park, Eric Clapton was joined by a host of guests, including Tedeschi Trucks Band, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Trout Steak Revival and Charlie Scopoletti & The Truth. Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi joined Clapton for a performance of Robert Johnson’s “Crossroads.” Trucks, who has toured with Clapton in the past, most recently joined him on stage for Clapton’s 70th birthday celebration at New York’s Madison Square Garden in 2015. Claptop’s headlining set also featured a cover of Bob Marley’s “I Shot the Sheriff, “White Room” from his Cream days” “Layla,” “Wonderful Tonight” and “Cocaine.” Clapton has just a handful of tour dates currently on his schedule, including a short European run in July and two nights at MSG in October.
