Janet Jackson To Be Honored At Billboard Music Awards

Janet Jackson will receive the Billboard Icon Award in recognition of her contributions to the music world. She will be presented with the coveted award at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards ceremony in Las Vegas, Dick Clark Productions and NBC announced Monday. Jackson is also scheduled to deliver a performance on the live telecast after receiving the honor. This will be her first televised performance in nine years. Jackson, 51, joins the ranks of Prince, Stevie Wonder, Cher, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez, who previously received the award.
