Bruce Springsteen performed as a special guest at the reopening party for Asbury Lanes on Monday. The Tangiers Blues Band provided backup support and Springsteen’s longtime friend and personal photographer Danny Clinch played the harmonica. The Boss and the band played covers of Muddy Waters’ “I Just Want to Make Love to You,” Huey “Piano” Smith’s “Rockin’ Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu” and the Rolling Stones’ “Down the Road Apiece.” Springsteen, who is in the middle of his Springsteen on Broadway run wrapped up the short half hour show with the Isley Brothers’ “Twist and Shout.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com.
