Ariana Grande delivered her very first live performance of her new track “The Light Is Coming” during her set at Wango Tango on Saturday. The track, which is a collaboration with Nicki Minaj, will appear on Grande’s upcoming new album Sweetener. “So, I’m putting out a new album in August, and I wanted to tell you the pre-order goes up this month on the 20th. And on the 20th you get a new song called ‘The Light Is Coming’ which features my big sister Nicki Minaj, and we wanted to give you a little preview of it tonight,” Grande stated to the crowd at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles before launching into her debut performance of the song. Grande had previously teased a snippet of the new track on Twitter back in May. Sweetener, the upcoming fourth studio effort from the pop singer, will also feature previously released single “No Tears Left To Cry.” In addition to Minaj, the album will also feature guest appearances from Pharrell Williams and Missy Elliott.
