A new Glen Campbell tribute concert, “The Glen Campbell Legacy: A Tribute to the Rhinestone Cowboy,” is coming to Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Top gospel singer Steven Curtis Chapman will headline the show along with former Campbell guitarist and banjo player Carl Jackson and Campbell’s daughter Ashley Campbell. More Nashville talent also will be featured, including Val Storey, Carrie Tillis and Patrick Thomas. “We have been wanting to honor Glen Campbell through our Legacy Series for years now,” said Studio Tenn Artistic Director Matt Logan. “He is a musician whose influence has reached many of the great artists of today, much like Steven Curtis Chapman, who is joining us for the tribute. Artists like Steven bring such a personal, inspiring level to the show that only close family and friends can provide that celebrates Glen’s legacy, influence and artistry.” The tribute will run two nights only, June 30 and July 1. Campbell died last year from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
