Bruce Springsteen’s childhood home in New Jersey has reportedly been sold. Springsteen’s family lived at the home at 39 Institute St. in Freehold for 7 years, from 1955 till 1962. The two-family home was listed for $269,900 in November of last year, and was sold in May for $255,000, according to a report from the Asbury Park Press. The legendary singer recently reminisced about his days growing up in Freehold at the Tony Awards, and also did so in his autobiography. It was while living in that house that Springsteen saw Elvis Presley on “The Ed Sullivan Show” in 1956, he recalls in the autobiography Born to Run. He was just 7 years old at that time. Before rising to rock ‘n’ roll stardom, Bruce Springsteen and his family lived in several other homes. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
