A special collection of Bob Seger’s early tracks has been compiled as a proper album and is scheduled for release on September 7, 2018. All the songs on the album were created by Bob Seger & The Last Heard and produced by the Cameo label between 1966 and 1967, during which he was joined by Ed Andrews who went on to become his manager and producer. Dubbed Heavy Music – The Complete Cameo Recordings 1966-1967, the album will feature five singles and their B-sides, including “Persecution Smith” and “Heavy Music,” of which the latter is available for streaming now. The album will be released on CD, 180g Vinyl and on streaming platforms.
