Box Set Of Unreleased Tom Petty Music Coming In September

A 60-track box set collection of previously unreleased material from the late Tom Petty will be released on September 28. The songs on the collection, titled American Treasure, are reportedly drawn from all phases of Petty’s career with the Heartbreakers. Live and studio tracks and alternate versions of popular Petty songs will be included in the four-CD boxed set. Petty’s wife Dana, daughter Adria, and former collaborators Mike Campbell, Ryan Ulate and Benmont Tench compiled the selection of songs. Petty died on October 2, 2017 after he was found unconscious at his home in Malibu having overdosed on a variety of medications. His family said the singer was suffering from extreme pain that forced him to overuse medication. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
