Taylor Swift Tops Adult Pop Songs Chart

Taylor Swift has landed her first number one song on Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs chart off of her latest album Reputation with “Delicate.” “Delicate” is Swift’s seventh total Adult Pop Songs No. 1, the fourth-best since the list launched in Billboard magazine in 1996. Maroon 5 leads with 12 No. 1s, followed by P!nk (nine) and Katy Perry (eight). Swift’s seven Adult Pop Songs No. 1s prior to “Delicate” are “I Knew You Were Trouble.” (for one week, in 2013); “Shake It Off” (eight weeks, 2014); “Blank Space” (six, 2015); “Style” (two, 2015); “Bad Blood,” featuring Kendrick Lamar (three, 2015); and “Wildest Dreams” (four, 2015). The Adult Pop Songs chart measures total weekly plays, as tabulated by Nielsen Music, among its reporting panel of 87 adult top 40 stations.
