Tina Turner shared a photo on Twitter late last week of her family’s emotional farewell to son Craig Raymond Turner, who committed suicide earlier this month. The rock ‘n’ roll legend posted the picture of her tossing a red rose into the water, with the caption: “My saddest moment as a mother. On Thursday, July 19 2018, I said my final goodbye to my son, Craig Raymond Turner, when I gathered with family and friends to scatter his ashes off the coast of California. He was fifty-nine when he died so tragically, but he will always be my baby.” Craig Turner was born to Tina during her relationship with boyfriend Raymond Hill when she was 18. Hill was a saxophonist in Tina’s first husband Ike Turner’s band, Kings of Rhythm. Turner adopted Craig after he married Tina in 1962.
