Dionne Warwick has announced that she is writing and recording a new album. She revealed the news before a screening of Dionne Warwick: Then Came You. “I feel like I’ve truly been blessed,” she told the Hollywood Reporter. “I’ve been fortunate enough to have people who have been loyal over the years to me and have enjoyed the music I’ve given them, as I have. I always say things happen the way they’re supposed to happen, and here I am.” Warwick last released Feels So Good in 2014 on Bright Music. For her career, she ranks second to Aretha Franklin as the most charted female vocalist with 69 singles making the Billboard Hot 100 during the rock era (1955-1999) and has sold over 75 million singles and 25 million albums worldwide.
