Rick Springfield will guest-star in the third episode of the ABC comedy The Goldbergs’ upcoming sixth season, Entertainment Weekly reports. Springfield will play daughter Erica Goldberg’s (Hayley Orrantia) new boss, the owner of a karaoke bar called Gary-oke’s. “At last I get to play a guy from the 80s,” Springfield says of the new role. “I’m excited to guest star on The Goldbergs and return back to 1980-something!” The Goldbergs returns for its sixth season on September 26 at 8pm on ABC. Best known for dropping hit after hit in the music world like the iconic single “Jessie’s Girl,” Springfield has quite the acting resume to his name.
