The Long Road Festival announced that country singer Carrie Underwood has been forced to cancel two of her upcoming UK shows due to an unrevealed illness. “We’ve just heard that Carrie is unable to play this weekend due to illness, and our primary concern is her speedy recovery. We know you’ll have questions, and we promise to come back to you as soon as we can,” tweeted the festival. However, she has been replaced by Aaron Watson, who will now headline the festival on Saturday, September 8. Singers Kylie Minogue, Rita Ora and The Shires, among others, will take her place at the shows by BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park on September 7-9. Meanwhile, “End Up With You,” the latest single from her upcoming album, Cry Pretty has been released. “And we could end up broke down on some back road/Lovin’ in the back seat to the radio/Wouldn’t be the worst scenario/’Cause all I wanna do is end up with you,” she sings on the new track Co-produced with David Garcia and Jim Jonsin, Cry Pretty is set for release on September 14. Underwood will embark on a summer tour in promotion of the album only next year since she is presently expecting her second child. Beginning May 1 at Greensboro, N.C, she will be joined on the road by Maddie & Tae and Runaway June. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
