The August 2012 performance by Neil Diamond at the famous Greek Theater in Los Angeles, marking the 40th anniversary of his original multiplatinum-selling Hot August Night collection, will premiere on PBS on September 22. Neil Diamond: HOT AUGUST NIGHT III features powerful and accurate rendering of songs such as “Forever in Blue Jeans,” “Kentucky Woman,” “Sweet Caroline,” “I Am…I Said” and “America.” The live double-CD and a deluxe version with a DVD of the concert were released on August 17. The 77 year-old singer-songwriter has won almost all the major honors in the music world, including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall Of Fame, the Golden Globe Award, the Billboard Icon Award, and the American Music Award.
