Mariah Carey has dropped “The Distance,” a new collaboration featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Skrillex from her upcoming album Caution. Caution will be Carey’s 15th studio album, and her first full-length LP since 2014’s Me. I Am Mariah…the Elusive Chanteuse. The 10-track LP will be released on November 16. “The Distance” is the third single that Carey has released from Caution, after “GTFO” and “With You.” “But the hate only made us get closer. Look at us we going the distance / They just want to be us / They don’t want to see us going the distance,” Carey sings on the track. “Ain’t nobody stopping us/ What we have is dangerous/ Left they opinions in the dust/ Said can’t nobody f..k with us.” “We’re too strong (too strong)/ We’re too silent (ooh yeah)/ They can’t stop it now,” Ty Dolla $ign adds.
