Elton John performed at Madison Square Garden in New York on Thursday night as part of his three-year “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” world tour. The nearly three-hour long show, featuring 24 of his hit songs, began with a performance of “Bennie & The Jets.” The audience vociferously welcomed it. The hits included “All The Girls Love Alice,” “Rocket Man,” “Indian Sunset” “The Bitch Is Back,” “I’m Still Standing,” “Crocodile Rock”, “Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting” and “Believe.” “I’m so happy to be back at my favorite venue in the whole wide world,” the 71-year-old music legend told the audience at his 65th headlining show. “I will miss you very, very much,” he told the gathering, which also included former President Bill Clinton, his wife Hillary Clinton, Donny Deutsch and Russell Crowe.
