Before welcoming Springsteen to the stage in front of his home fans, Social Distortion singer Mike Ness told the audience that a singer would join the band to “sing a song or two.” “Do you know who I’m talking about?” he asked the crowd, already chanting a chorus of “Broooooooce.” Springsteen performed three song with group, “Bad Luck,” “Misery Loves Company” and Social Distortion’s punk rock cover of the Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire.” Springsteen and Ness have shared the stage several times before.
