Nile Rodgers & Chic Share ‘Sober’ Video

Nile Rodgers and Chic have dropped the music video for “Sober,” a track from their recently released ninth studio album It’s About Time. The video, which was directed by Giorgio Testi, also features Craig David and Stefflon Don. The video begins with Rodgers entering the Abbey Road studios in London and where he starts researching the science behind disco hits as he wants to uncover the secret behind funk and disco. “Sober” was the third single released from It’s About Time, alongside “Boogie All Night” featuring Nao and Mura Masa and “Till the World Falls,” which features Anderson .Paak, Mura Masa, Vic Mensa, and Cosha. It’s About Time is the group’s first album since 1992’s Chic-ism. For the new album, Chic collaborated with Elton John, Craig David, and Lady Gaga, Hailee Steinfeld, Stefflon Don, Emeli Sande, Anderson .Paak, Vic Mensa, and more.
