Atlantic Records will be releasing a tribute album, The Greatest Showman – Reimagined, which will feature covers from the likes of Pink, Sara Bareilles, Kelly Clarkson and Panic! at the Disco. According to Variety, an all-star collection of new versions of songs from the original soundtrack of The Greatest Showman, which has been one of the biggest selling albums of 2018, is due on November 16. The Greatest Showman’s soundtrack was the first album in 2018 and the first soundtrack in four years to sell one million copies in the U.S. It was also the seventh album in Billboard history to spend 30 non-consecutive weeks in the Billboard 200’s top 10. “It felt like it warranted something much more significant and robust. Then you had people like Pink and Selena Gomez and other artists who were on social media posting themselves dancing to and singing the songs. And that was part of kind of what went into my epiphany that we have something that’s not only connecting with the masses, but it’s connecting with artists,” Atlantic Records West Coast president Kevin Weaver told Variety.
