Country superstar Tim McGraw has shared “Gravity,” a track from the documentary Free Solo. Free Solo is a documentary that tells the story of soloist climber Alex Honnold, as he sets out to climb the face of the 3,200-foot El Capitan in Yosemite National Park without a rope. “Gravity” a song @LoriMcKennaMA and I wrote for the amazing film #FreeSolo is out now! Can’t wait for you to hear it!” McGraw tweeted. “There are few people who pursue their passion with the fearlessness of Alex Honnold. It’s both terrifying and exhilarating to be on that journey with him when you watch “Free Solo.” Lori McKenna and I wanted the lyrics of ‘Gravity’ to be a reminder that fear is a battle fought on a variety of planes, from mental to spiritual to physical,” McGraw said in a statement. “Look at what you’ve overcome to get here / Look at the distance you’ve run / the doubts that you’ve pushed down / fear that you drown out when they said that it couldn’t be done/ In your head / in your heart / in your hands / in your head / in your heart/ in your hands / in your head / in your heart / in your hands / Gravity’s a fragile thing,” he sings on the new track. McGraw had last month released two new singles, “Neon Church” and “Thought About You,” from his upcoming new album. The singer has not revealed any details on the album’s release.
