Lady Gaga showed her solidarity with the victims of the California wildfires by dropping in and spending some time with them at one of the shelters. “I will be with you every step of the way, even the second that I leave this room. I love you, and you’re gonna get through this, and we’ll get through this together,” she told the crowd at the Red Cross shelter at Pacific Palisades High School on Sunday night. The singer, who also had to evacuate her home due to the fires, posed for photos, presented gift cards and sang to an elderly female evacuee during the visit, which reportedly lasted an hour and a half. “I know this is not easy. I know a lot of you are feeling a lot of pain right now and a lot of shock, and this might feel very surreal,” TMZ quoted her as saying. “I know that I feel kind of in a daze and I’m not really sure exactly when or how this is going to hit me when it does,” Gaga told the crowd.
