Singer-songwriter Norah Jones has released her fourth single of the year. The new single, titled “Wintertime,” features Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy on percussion. Jones’ former engineer Tom Schick helped her to record the music. This is the second collaboration between Jones and Tweedy. “A Song With No Name,” released by Blue Note in September, was their first collaboration. The 39-year-old singer explained why she is releasing new music track by track instead of as a multiple-track album. “It’s easy when you get into a record cycle to lose that a little bit. the magic of the song starts to dissipate,” Jones told Entertainment Weekly. “Waiting around, getting artwork together. it’s like, let’s just put out the important part and move on,” she added.
