Following his recent hospitalization, Aerosmith guitarist, Joe Perry has been forced to cancel his solo tour. Shortly after performing Aerosmith’s hit song, “Walk This Way” along with Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden last week, the artist reportedly collapsed in his dressing room, soon after which paramedics transported him to a New York hospital. “While doctors have released Perry from care, the Aerosmith guitarist will now take the rest of the year off,” announced an official press release. “Was really looking forward to playing these shows with Brad and Gary and seeing all of you who were planning to come out and support us,” wrote Perry in a heartfelt post to Instagram. “We will be back out as soon as possible.” Perry, who released his solo LP, Sweetzerland Manifesto in January 2018, is next scheduled to perform alongside the band for the Super Bowl performance in Atlanta, Georgia.
