Kid Rock has received regulatory approval for a large sign planned for his recently opened bar in Nashville despite opposition from some of the Council members. The soaring 20-foot tall neon sign, to be erected in front of the “Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse” bar, will feature the base of a giant guitar shaped like a woman’s buttocks. The Nashville Metro Council approved the necessary aerial encroachment to allow for construction and installation of the sign by a 27-3 vote on Thursday. Mayor David Briley signed an order granting the approval on Friday. Councilwoman Kathleen Murphy, who opposed the resolution authorizing the sign, said it “crosses the line.” “If we allow this, what is going to come next? I think we can all use our imaginations there,” according to her. Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
