Green Day and Guns N’ Roses members came together to put on a performance at a secret New Year’s Eve show. An Instagram fan page dedicated to Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan posted a video, which showed McKagan teaming up with Green Day members Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt’s cover band The Coverups to perform a rendition of The Damned’s “Neat Neat Neat.” On December 19, The Coverups had performed another secret show in Albany, New York, which featured covers of classic tracks, including “Drain You” by Nirvana, “Whole Lotta Love” by Led Zeppelin, “All The Young Dudes” by David Bowie, “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” by the Rolling Stones, “Don’t Change” by INXS and “Summer Of ’69” by Bryan Adams. Armstrong recently confirmed that he was at work on writing songs for the next Green Day album. The Coverups consists of Armstrong, Dirnt, as well as the band’s audio engineer Chris Dugan, tour crew manager Bill Schneider, and touring guitarist Jason White. Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com.
