Lady Gaga has come to the defense of Cardi B after several said that the rapper didn’t deserve to win a Grammy award. The “Shallow” singer, who won three Grammys at the 61st Grammy Awards, tweeted in defense of the “I Like It” rapper who was criticized for her Best Rap Album win. Alongside a photo of the pair together at the awards show, Gaga, wrote, “It is so hard to be a woman in this industry. W hat it takes, how hard we work through the disrespectful challenges, just to make art.” “I love you Cardi. You deserve your awards. Let’s celebrate her fight,” Gaga added. “Lift her up & honor her. She is brave.” Cardi deactivated her Instagram account following the criticism that she didn’t deserve her first-ever Grammy win as well as some social media drama where she was pitted against Nicki Minaj by the BET Network. However, before deactivating her account, she posted an epic rant on the social media platform. “It’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else. That’s not my style and that’s not what I’m with. I don’t support that. However, I’ve been taking a lot of sh*t today. I’m seeing a lot of bullsh*t today and I saw a lot of sh*t last night, and I’m sick of this sh*t,” she said. “I work hard for my motherf*cking album.” Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com.
