Al Green Announces First Tour In Seven Years

Al Green has announced plans to embark on a five-date tour, which will mark his first run of shows in seven years. Green had previously announced his upcoming participation at this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The soul legend will now perform additional headlining shows throughout Texas and Georgia. The shows will kick off on April 24 with a performance at Bass Concert Hall in Austin, while the final gig will be held at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on May 3. Tickets for the upcoming shows will go on sale starting this Friday, February 8 at 10 am local time. Tank and the Bangas and The War and Treaty will provide support for Green on certain dates.
