All fans attending the Minnesota Timberwolves’s final City Edition game against the Miami Heat on April 5 will receive an exclusive seven-inch vinyl version of Prince’s “Rock and Roll Is Alive! (And It Lives in Minneapolis).” The track originally appeared as the B-side to “Gold,” a single from Prince’s 1995 LP, The Gold Experience. The Timberwolves, who donned Prince-themed jerseys featuring a purple base and lettering for select matchups, will be capping off their season-long tribute to the star with the vinyl gift to their fans. The vinyl giveaway is a collaboration between the Timberwolves, Sony and the Prince Estate.
