Singer-songwriter and actress Lady Gaga has been named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2019. The 33-year-old artist appears in the Icons section of Time’s editorial choices. “I love Lady Gaga, and I think she’s got one of the greatest voices in the world: powerful, convincing, passionate and sensitive,” Celine Dion said in a tribute to Gaga. She described Gaga as one of the most inventive artists we’ve ever seen. “She’s an amazing musician, composer, performer and, as we saw in A Star Is Born, an incredible actress, but her legacy reaches well beyond show business. She will continue to inspire love and freedom around the world, for generations to come,” the Grammy-winning singer added. Time’s list of 100 Most Influential People of the Year also features a number of world leaders, athletes, artists, business persons, actors, religious leaders and influential political figures.
