Lee Ann Womack has released a video for the song “Hollywood,” a track from her album, The Lonely, The Lonesome & The Gone. The video uses stop-motion animation to show two plastic dolls living out the song’s story about a faltering relationship. “Every time I ask you, you just say ‘we’re good’/Either I’m a fool for asking or you belong in Hollywood,” Womack sings. The song was co-written by Womack, Waylon Payne and Adam Wright. The Lonely, The Lonesome & The Gone earned a Grammy nomination for Best Americana Album, while the lead single, “All the Trouble,” was nominated for Best Americana Roots Song. Womack teased the video’s premiere with a series of “Hollywood” movie posters on social media, featuring comical quotes from Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson and Brothers Osborne.
