Sam Smith has pulled out of next week’s Billboard Music Awards, where he was due to perform “Dancing with a Stranger” with Normani. A statement on Smith’s Twitter page said medical specialists have advised the singer-songwriter to take further rest after he was forced to cut short his shows in Cape Town earlier this month due to strain on his voice. “We apologize for the disappointment for those affected, but the primary focus at this time needs to be on Sam’s recovery and health,” the statement added.
