Britney Spears has checked out of an anonymous mental health treatment facility after nearly a month’s stay. E! News and Billboard reported the news within hours of the singer denying rumors that she was being held at the facility against her will, which led to the emergence of the #FreeBritney hashtag. Spears checked into a mental health facility for 30-day program earlier this month following the hospitalization of her father, Jamie Spears, with whom she is deeply close. After disappearing from social media for several months, Spears returned to Instagram earlier this month, writing “We all need to take time for a little ‘me time.'” While Britney did not respond to the news, People reported that her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, picked the singer up and drove her home.
