Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones and original lead singer Lou Gramm recently sat down for an interview with Dan Rather for upcoming episode of “The Big Interview.” The interview, set to air on AXS TV on Tuesday, May 7, at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT, features Jones and Gramm candidly discussing their incredible careers, their struggles with illness, and the highs and lows of their celebrated partnership. Jones and Gramm recall the rift that led to them not speaking to each other for ten years in an exclusive first look shared by AXS TV. “There seemed to be either miscommunication or sometimes no communication,” Gramm explains. “You’d start putting a wall up. and there’d be resentment and anger.” “Pretty soon, you wouldn’t bother to get together to write songs,” he continues. “And that’s kind of what happened to us at a certain point.” For his part, Jones remembers feeling pressure to build on the tremendous success of the band’s 1977 self-titled debut album. “I went through some times when I felt I wasn’t really in control, and I let myself go a bit,” Jones says. “It was part of the reason that we lost touch.
