Police capture emu

Do you know where all your birds are?

A Phoenix homeowner misplaced a pet emu on Sunday.

The emu was able to escape its home but not escape the public’s notice.

At 6 a.m. police dispatch received a call about a “large bird loose in the area.”

The bird was peacefully apprehended and escorted home by police officers.
