Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody revealed in a recent interview with Billboard that the U.K.-based indie rock band will be putting a new spin on several of their previous tracks in honor of their 25th anniversary this year. “I don’t want to look backwards too long, but after 25 years it seems appropriate,” said Lightbody. “It does feel that some time has passed for us. We’ve been through a lot together, so 25 feels about right.” Having recently finished touring North America, the band is gearing up to head to the U.K. and Europe for a string of special dates, beginning with a show in Ward Park in Bangor, Northern Ireland, on May 25. Lightbody also revealed that the band is looking forward to writing and producing new music in January of 2020 after ending their global trek across America, the U.K., Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
