Barbie’s latest makeover is just in time for the Dia De Los Muertos

Mattel is releasing a Day of the Dead Barbie celebrating the Mexican holiday starting today!

$75 bucks get you the limited-edition doll from Walmart or amazon, complete with black floor-length gown and a skull mask painted face

Dia De Los Muertos, or Day Of The Dead if you don’t habla Espanol, is a 3000-year-old Mexican tradition in which family and friends pray for those who have passed on. Traditionally it’s believed that the spirits of the dead are joined with the families and loved ones for two days.

Disney and Pixar actually did a really good job of explaining it back in 2017
