say hello to  AirPods Pro!

By Jon Smith:

Apple announced this week that the newest member of the “MUST HAVE!” Apple family would be based on the incredibly popular AirPods, and the feedback they’ve had since releasing the first set in 2016.

The biggest criticism has been that the AirPods simply don’t fit comfortably enough to cancel out any background sounds around you.  Look, when I’m riding Trax into work the last thing I want to hear is the stranger telling me about her kid being addicted to Fortnight.  I want to hear my music and nothing else.

So no we’ll have the AirPods Pro, which not only features noise cancellation but, get this,  sweat resistance! I don’t need my earbud falling out while sweating out my breakfast on the treadmill if you know what I mean. The earbuds are designed in a way that seals around your ear, allowing you to swap out the ear tips for the best fit

But if you actually WANT to hear what is going on around you, you can use  “transparency mode”!  This allows you to still hear things around you like cars and eavesdrop on side conversations. (We get it, Kyle.  Your roommate needs to chip in for food)

Just like the OG model, the AirPods Pro will quickly sync up to your phone or iPad, and of course you can talk to your pal Siri when you wear them.

The AirPods Pro will be available in stores beginning on October 30th for $249.
