Will there be a documentary for One Direction’s 10-year anniversary?

Yes, I know. One Direction broke up as a band five years ago.

And, yes, I know they have all started their own solo careers and there’s not really any news they’ll be reuniting soon. (Although, many fans still keep their fingers crossed.)

But, maybe their days as a band aren’t over. Liam Payne may have dropped some serious hints to City Times that seemingly confirms a documentary featuring the boy band together again on the big screen. And just in time for their would-be 10-year anniversary.

When City Times asked Liam what he remembers from traveling with his bandmates, he said, “It’s hard for me to remember specific gigs because it was a blur of planes and sound checks and screams. I think we filmed that show and it will be part of a documentary around an anniversary.”

The five boys accomplished a lot during their five years together, after leaving the X-factor. They released five albums, went on several world tours, broke music records, shot a movie, etc. After the split in 2015 of the four remaining members (Zayn Malik left for his own solo career in 2015), fans were pretty upset. They’ve been waiting for an announced reunion ever since.

Even though they aren’t an official band anymore, the lads have remained good friends. In between their busy schedules, a few of them have even managed to still hang out – which always sends fans into freak-out nostalgia mode.

Maybe this is the opportunity they’ve been waiting for… or at least something to hold them over until (or, if) that day comes.
