The countdown is almost over for fans of the Latina superstar singers — Super Bowl 2020 is right around the corner and Shakira and Jennifer Lopez are ready to steal the show.

With the performance coming up soon, Shakira opened up in a 60 Minutes interview with Bill Whitaker. And, as it turns out, Shakira is just as excited as her fans to get on stage.

“You’ll see me in all my splendor, meaning I’ll be, like, stressed out,” she said in her interview. “I know that was on my to-do list, so, February 3rd, I’m gonna go, ‘Check!’”

Shakira’s going into the show with confidence, but tells her fans that it wasn’t easy to get where she is now.

“I think the message [of my performance] is gonna be ‘Listen, I’m a woman. I’m a Latina. It wasn’t easy for me to get to where I am. And being at the Super Bowl is proof that everything is possible. That the dreams of a little girl from Barranquilla, Colombia, they were made of something of what dreams are made of and I’m gonna be there, giving it all,'” she said in an interview with CBS newsmagazine show.

And for those of who aren’t die-hard football fans — but love a good halftime show — the game is scheduled for February 2 at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.
