Billie Eilish, like any other teenage girl, has been outspoken Belieber for years. So, imagine how she felt when she saw the singer actually get emotional talking about her and her success.

In a Zane Lowe interview on Friday, Justin Bieber discussed his new album release, among other things. The singer then got emotional discussing when he was asked what it was like to meet Eilish.

The question brought up memories for the singer, as he was also an up-and-coming star just a few years ago. Bieber said, above all, he wants to protect her from losing the feelings of the moment.

“If she ever needs me, I’m going to be here for her, but yeah, just protecting those moments because people take for granted encounters,” he said, wiping away tears. “I just want to protect her, you know? I don’t want her to lose it, I don’t want her to go through anything I went through. I don’t wish that upon anybody. So, if she ever needs me, I’m just a call away.”

Eilish took to Instagram to respond, posting the clip of the interview. She also added photos of her Belieber-decorated room, her merch, etc. to show that the feeling is mutual.
