Justin Bieber is breaking new records. Just two weeks after his new album released, Bieber is breaking records set by Elvis Presley.

In 1961, with his Blue Hawaii album, 26-year-old Elvis Presley became the youngest individual to have seven No. 1 albums on the US charts. The late legend’s record just got smashed, however, at the hands of none other than Justin Bieber.

The 25-year olds album ‘Changes’ debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. It became Bieber’s seventh number one album- making him the youngest solo artist to achieve that many.

It also means Bieber broke a long-held record by Elvis Presley.

According to Nielsen Music, the album amassed the equivalent of 231,000 sales in the U.S. in the first week of its release; including 135 million streams and 126,000 physical copies.

Bieber first topped the chart in 2010 aged 16, with his debut album My World 2.0. His four subsequent studio albums, and two out of three of his remix or acoustic albums, have all also reached the US No 1.

In addition to breaking records, Bieber recently announced on his social media that a new visual from his best-selling ‘Changes’ is on its way. Details regarding the upcoming video are still scarce to date, although it will follow the previously issued clips for “Yummy” and “Intentions”.
