Camila Cabello says love is “exhausting”

Pop singer Camila Cabello admits that romantic relationships can be “exhausting.”

The former Fifth Harmony singer is currently dating pop singer and teen heart-throb Shawn Mendes. But even though their love evokes envy among many fans, Cabello admits it can be a lot of work.

The two started dating after rekindling their friendship last year. In fact, Mendes inspired her new album “Romance.”

But, she admits: being in a relationship can really “take it out of you.” She confessed that to Britain’s Capital FM after taking home Best Female prize at the Global Awards 2020 in London.

Among the questions asked to her at the awards show, she was asked if the couple planned more songs together.

“I want more,” she said. “We want more. But honestly, we’re being in our twenties.”

Basically, while we all love when the two hit the studio together it’s a lot more work than one may think. Cabello implies that their schedules may just be too busy to book time to record.

“Just like, being in love is exhausting,” she said. “It take it out of you. We can’t even go to the studio […] We’re trying to calm down.”

The couple’s last collab was the hit song Senorita, which topped global charts when it dropped last summer.

So, it may be a while until we hear another hit song from the two of them… but we get it.
