Jennifer Aniston surprised Utah nurse on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
It’s no easy task what lies ahead of the thousands of healthcare workers in our communities and country. It’s also why they all need our committed support and gratitude during these unwavering times. Healthcare professionals are working long hours and risking their own health amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of them have contracted the virus too – like nurse Kimball Fairbanks from St. George, Utah.
Jimmy invited Kimball onto his late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live this week. She explained her quarantine situation and received a few unexpected surprises. Kimball Fairbanks contracted the COVID-19 virus and is in the process of her two-week quarantine. After being furloughed from work, she is isolating herself from her family. This includes her two young daughters, a 4-year-old and 18 month old. While expressing her first signs of symptoms, “I kind of felt like I was hit by a train,” she is now starting to feel better.
Jennifer Aniston Surprises Kimball on Video call
Upon expressing his gratitude, Jimmy’s first surprise was a video call with Jennifer Aniston. Kimball was surprised none the least, as Aniston asked her how she was feeling and expressed her gratitude toward her and all of the healthcare workers during these trying times. Aniston told Kimball, “I just have to say, God bless you and all of you that are out there doing what you’re doing. I just, I don’t even know how to express my gratitude to everything that you guys are doing, putting your health at risk and all of that. You’re just phenomenal.”
The surprises continued when Jimmy and Jennifer announced that Kimball would be receiving a $10,000 gift card from Post Mates. Jimmy jokingly added, “but you have to use it in all in one shot”. They proceeded to explain that all other nurses on her hospital floor would also be receiving a $10,000 gift card.
While this is not the first time celebrities and organizations have shown their appreciation for our healthcare workers, it’s a great reminder for all of us. We can all help out our communities and healthcare workers in some way, even if it just means expressing our thoughts and gratitude.
