As if Mariah Carey wasn’t already an icon! The pop star cheered for healthcare workers from her balcony in New York on Easter Sunday wearing floppy bunny ears and pajamas.

Every night at 7 p.m. EST, New York residents bang pots and pans, clap, and yell gratitude for healthcare workers.

Mariah Carey posted a video on Twitter, joining thousands of others in thanking those on the frontlines, fighting the pandemic.

In the video, Carey is shouting and clapping while rocking the cutest pink bunny ears and stylish floral silk jammies.

She captioned the video with a short, yet tender, message.

7pm in NYC on Easter. Clapping for our heroes. Thank You,” with a little red heart at the end.

That’s not the only thing Queen Carey did to celebrate Easter. Carey joined Joel Osteen for a virtual Sunday Easter service, where she sang her hit “Hero” as a tribute to first responders who are working through the pandemic.
