Actor, Will Smith brought Dr. Anthony Fauci onto his Snapchat talk show called Will From Home. Dr. Fauci answered a few pressing questions sent in from Will’s viewers, but the best questions came from some of his youngest fans.

Can the Tooth Fairy catch COVID-19?

One of the top moments came when 7-year-old Ava asked if the Tooth Fairy would be able to catch the virus if she put her tooth under her pillow. With comfort and ease Dr. Fauci reassured Ava that the tooth would be just fine and that there is no need to worry. Watch her ask the question here.

“I don’t think you need to worry about the Tooth Fairy,” he said. “So when your tooth [falls] out, you stick it under the pillow and I’ll guarantee you that that Tooth Fairy is not going to get infected and is not going to get sick.”

Throughout the episode, he answered questions from other youngsters about the Coronavirus. Dr. Fauci responded with answers to questions like, what does COVID-19 stand for? Can we still go out for walks? Is this ever going to end? Dr. Fauci has been a voice of truth throughout this whole pandemic. As adults look to him for answers and guidance during these uncertain times, it’s not surprising how he reassuringly answered these kid’s questions.

He concluded with a reassuring statement for both kids and adults. “This is something you’re not going to have to worry about for the rest of your life. It’s tough now and it may be tough for another year, but this is something that will go away. I promise you.”
