Supporting in solidarity

After the world witnessed the horrific crime against George Floyd, police brutality and the injustice towards black communities are finally getting the attention they deserve. Now that the world is watching, we need concrete actions in order to enact real change.

A great way to stand in solidarity for George Floyd is by making a donation to one of the numerous organizations that continue to fight against racial injustice.

Michael Bublé was horrified when he watched the murder of Floyd, a black man who was killed by a white Minnesota police officer.

In a public statement on his Instagram, he said, “We need to be a part of the solution in fighting systemic racism in whatever way we can.” He expressed the urgency for action saying “There is so much to do but for now, I am making a donation to the ACLU who continue their work seeking justice for the civil and human rights of all citizens.”

Bublé then followed up his statement with a challenge and plan to match any fan’s contribution to the ACLU.

“I also am challenging you to also make a donation to ACLU. I will match anyone who makes a donation using this link, www.aclusocal.org/buble, up to $100,000.”
