VOR Community Conversation: School Safety – Pt. 1

On this episode of the Voices of Reason podcast, Amy Donaldson and Jasen Lee host the inaugural VOR Community Conversation in front of a live studio audience at KSL Broadcast House in downtown Salt Lake City on the topic of safety in schools. The discussion will be two parts.

In the first episode, we’re joined by Kathy Howa, a teacher and at Rowland Hall — a private school in Salt Lake City; Elizabeth Love, a senior at West High School in Salt Lake who is an organizer for the March for Our Lives SLC. She’s also a freelance writer who has worked as a research intern for the Gun Violence Prevention Center of Utah for two years; our third guest is Chris Gebhardt, who has worked in law enforcement for more than 25 years, including as a SWAT officer for Salt Lake County as well as a stint working for Taylorsville PD as a firearms instructor.

Join us for an enlightening, thoughtful discussion on this very important issue.
