John Mayer has released a new song titled “I Guess I Just Feel Like,” his first single since 2018’s “New Light,” on streaming services. The singer-songwriter and guitarist had played the song at the iHeartRadio Theater in Southern California in October. Mayer told the crowd that it was written shortly before he took the stage. “I Guess I Just Feel Like” is available on Apple Music, iTunes, and via Spotify. “I guess I just feel like/Nobody’s honest/Nobody’s true/Everyone’s lying/To make it on through/I guess I just feel like/I’m the same way too,” the eight-time Grammy winner sings. Mayer has planned two tours this year. The first one kicks off on March 23 at Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand.
